ANZAHPE is a collegial network that exists to promote, support and advance the practice of health professional educators and to meet and give expression to the professional needs of its members.

Membership and membership participation are the lifeblood of ANZAHPE and keeps the organisation vibrant and relevant.

ANZAHPE currently has over 1000 members from across Australia, New Zealand and the globe, representing a diversity of professions/disciplines, roles and sectors and from students through to early career and senior academics and professionals. Being part of the ANZAHPE network will provide you with the opportunity to:

• Expand your professional network in health professions education
• Develop new collaborations in education and/or research
• Contribute to scholarly discourse, nationally and internationally and across professions/disciplines and sectors
• Positively impact on the direction that health professional education is taking in Australia & New Zealand

Those who should consider becoming an ANZAHPE member include:

• Academic staff at tertiary institutions involved in health professions education
• Health professionals from any profession/discipline, sector, teaching setting and career stage involved in the teaching of healthcare professionals
• Higher degree by research students (e.g. Master’s by Research, PhD, Professional Doctorate) undertaking health professions education research
• Students of undergraduate or postgraduate health professional courses, particularly those aspiring to academic and educational leadership positions
• Health professions education leaders
• Researchers in health professional education including simulation, peer-learning, inter-professional learning assessment and education research skills
• Staff from other education and training organisations such as Specialist Colleges, Health Education Units, Registered Training Organisations, Private training providers
