The ANZAHPE Mentorship Scheme ANZAHPE runs a one-year Mentorship Scheme for all interested members as an ANZAHPE Fellowship Scheme activity. The purpose of the Mentorship Scheme is to provide Fellowship mentoring for ANZAHPE members wishing to advance their career as educators, leaders, scholars or researchers. We hope the scheme will also support mentees to join or advance in the ANZAHPE Fellowship community. The first Mentorship scheme course launched in September of 2021. Mentors will be ANZAHPE Fellows, or Associate Fellows, however educational leaders are encouraged to volunteer as mentors also. Mentees can be either ANZAHPE members, Associate fellows or even Fellows, depending on their needs. ANZAHPE Fellows and Associate Fellows and educational leaders are now invited to register as mentors. Apart from attendance at two workshops, time commitment will vary according to agreements but usually one hour per month. The 2023 Mentorship Scheme will commence with a Mentorship Workshop on September 14th at 1pm (AEST) for registered mentors and mentees. The Workshop will be run by Julie Ash, Megan Anakin, Elizabeth Molloy, Charlotte Denniston, Joanna Tai, Adrian Schoo and Ben Canny. The scheme will conclude with an event to celebrate all involved. During the scheme there will be 3 – 4 online events focused on a mentorship topic for discussion. The scheme will be evaluated in 2024. |
