Who should apply for Fellowship or Associate Fellowship? The Associate Fellowship Scheme recognises colleagues in the ANZAHPE community who wish to be identified as being committed to health professional education as part of their professional identity. The Fellowship Scheme recognises members of ANZAHPE who have demonstrated a consistent and sustained commitment to health professional education and ANZAHPE through their leadership scholarly contributions to the field. The scheme is open to health professional educators who have been recognised as effective teachers, researchers, developers and leaders in education in their own institutions and who have demonstrated a commitment to facilitating the learning of students and junior colleagues in academic, clinical or community settings. Current members of ANZAHPE, who are appropriately qualified, are warmly invited to apply for recognition as Fellows or Associate Fellows of the Association and the right to use the post-nominals FANZAHPE or AFANZAHPE, as appropriate. Fellow: Associate Professor Andy Wearn "ANZAHPE has been an important part of my health professional education journey. The association has provided colleagues, collaborators and friends after moving to Aotearoa/NZ. I believe in the mission of the Association and as such have held several association roles. For me, becoming a fellow aligns me with ANZAHPE and provides yet another opportunity to serve this Association. Fellowship is also a mark of standing in the health professional education community." |

Associate Fellow: Dr Averil Grieve "I applied for an Associate Fellowship with ANZAHPE because of its central role in promoting health professions education scholarship and providing a platform where academics and educators from diverse disciplines can share their innovations, ideas and experiences in health professions education." | ![]() |
