develop good learning outcomes for the curriculum

Facilitated by: Dr Julie Ash, Emeritus Professor David Prideaux and members of the Prideaux Discipline of Clinical Education at Flinders University.

This Masterclass uses scenarios and exemplars to engage participants in an exploration of ‘how to’ develop high-level outcomes for outcome-based curriculum, such as is currently preferred in health professions education programs. At the end of the workshop participants will have interrogated how to develop outcomes that are meaningful in their context and stakeholders, whether community, students, academics or regulatory bodies. This workshop will be useful those responsible for curriculum development at any level within heath professional programs. Registrants will be invited to submit their questions and dilemmas related to developing curriculum outcomes prior to the event.
