The World Health Summit Regional Meeting 2024 will be held Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 April at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) – Melbourne’s premier destination for big ideas and inspirational events.

Program

Informed Prevention, Informed Care is the overarching call to action of the 2024 Regional Meeting; challenging us to focus on solutions grounded in robust evidence and knowledge developed in partnership with communities.

The three key themes of the program are:

• Thriving Communities and Health: Priorities for living well and living well together. Understanding the intersecting medical, health, technological and systemic social issues we face and the solutions we need to address them.
• Climate Change and Health: Priorities for responding to the climate emergency.

Tackling critical climate risks to health in our region and building climate-resilient and low-carbon health systems.

• Geopolitics and Health: Priorities for safety, equity and justice across borders.

Ensuring the right to a safe, just and equal world and a life lived in freedom, peace and security. For everyone.
