Congratulations to Kalli Spencer on his ANZAHPE Associate Fellowship.
Kalli is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at University of New South Wales, Sydney and a urologist, with over 18 years’ experience in health professions education.
His primary focus is clinical skills and communication teaching within undergraduate medical education.
He leads curriculum development, teaching and assessment in clinical skills, with particular interests in simulation, interprofessional education, and professional identity formation.
His work supports students to develop the communication and clinical capabilities required for safe, patient-centred practice.
Alongside his educational work, Kalli brings experience in health advocacy and is currently completing a PhD (University of Queensland) exploring how advocacy is conceptualised and taught in medical education.
"I applied for Associate Fellowship with ANZAHPE to recognise my sustained contributions to clinical skills, communication and simulation education, and to engage more deeply with a community where I can both learn from and support others in advancing health professions education."
