Congratulations to Bismark Ofori-Manteaw on his Associate Fellowship with ANZAHPE!

Dr Bismark Ofori-Manteaw is a Lecturer in Medical Radiation Sciences at Charles Sturt University, Australia. He has a clinical and academic background in diagnostic radiography and holds a PhD in Medical Imaging. His work spans radiography education, clinical practice and health professions education research, with a particular interest in translating educational scholarship into meaningful improvements in teaching, learning and professional practice.

My scholarly interests centre on health professions education, particularly assessment, student engagement, educational innovation, cultural safety, and the transition between education and professional practice. I am especially interested in practical approaches to improving how health professionals learn, develop and apply knowledge in authentic clinical contexts.

I applied for Associate Fellowship of ANZAHPE as an opportunity to reflect on and consolidate my developing identity as a health professions education scholar, while becoming more actively connected with the broader ANZAHPE scholarly community. I see the Fellowship as both recognition of my journey so far and encouragement to continue contributing to health professions education scholarship and practice.
