Problem/challenge: Facilitating others to switch to online assessment for large courses while ensuring some level of assessment security and academic integrity
Strategies/solutions: At Deakin University, we have a series of blog posts here: http://dteach.deakin.edu.au/ which has helpful information about switching to online teaching. As part of this I worked on a high-level guide about redesigning online assessment which focuses on alternatives to traditional in-person exams, including practical exams.
Impacts so far: Anecdotally it has been helpful in laying out a range of potential options.
