In this session, Amanda Edgar will present her research on the role of virtual simulation in developing professional capabilities. This includes the use of virtual simulated international placements, with an emphasis on promoting diversity and inclusion in health professional education programs. Given that placement experiences and opportunities can vary, which may impact capability acquisition, participants will engage in small groups to discuss how these findings could be applied to their own disciplines.
